In the past week, my dad and I began to work on the set design for my film. He is immensly more skilled than I when it comes to woodwork, so the boats final look is due to him! I began with a few rough size measurements, which I gave to him. Due to us having different daily schedules, we had to work together when there was free time. He would often make parts of the boat and show them to me, where we would make adjustments or come up wit different ideas on how to tackle certain issues. Another set we had to create was a mini scale version of the boat, which would be used for shots such as a wide angle, to show how small the boat really was.
